Ghost hunting kit

Well, today my sister got me a ghost hunting kit from the book fair. It contained a compass, thermometer, whistle (why? could somebody explain that to me?), a battery powered "candle", a how-to on ghost hunting, and photos of "ghosts" (I can tell that they're fake pictures). Hopefully I'll be able to use it sometime soon!
